[closed] Best Museums & Galleries in Ljubljana 2014

more than a year ago
Born in 1800, France Prešeren is not only Slovenia's national poet, but also arguably its most important cultural figure - with the nation's highest cultural awards bearing his name, as well as countless squares, streets and parks in virtually every town from the Adriatic Sea to the Hungarian border. And in a somewhat macabre twist, Slovenia also celebrates its national day of culture on the day of his death, 8 February - a work-free state holiday when most cultural institutions offer free admission.

To mark the occasion for the 4th year in the row, here at Ljubljana In Your Pocket we're asking our readers to vote for their favourite museums and galleries in the city. The polls will be open until 15 February 2014, and the final results will be published in our upcoming Mar/Apr 2014 mini guide. Good luck to all of the institutions shortlisted below, and thanks in advance to everyone who votes!
