Plazita Limeña

  Kaya Grandi 6, Kralendijk, Bonaire      (+599) 717 76 67     more than a year ago
Luckily, you don't have to travel to the Andes to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine. In the middle of Kralendijk's main street, next to the tourist information office you’ll find Plazita Limeña. At first glance it looks like a tiny venue, but inside is a huge semi-open courtyard and plenty of seating in the back. For over a decade this family-run business has been serving great meat and seafood dishes, not to mention the best paella we've had on Bonaire as well as a cracking spicy beef satay. Tasty soups are also at your disposal, but you can't go wrong with the shrimp in creamy garlic white wine sauce. For a taste of something truly delicious and exotic order a side dish of fried plantains. Prices are affordable, but bear in mind that the staff operate on island time, so just sit back, relax and enjoy - you are on vacation after all!
