Most tourists see the Utrecht canals from the safety of a waterside pub or a tourist boat, but if you’re up for a little adventure, you can also rent a canoe, a Canadian or a small electric boat. A laminated map and a waterproof bag (both free) will ensure that nothing will harm you or your belongings.
