Café Prückel Comments

  • It's too bad they have spiffed up the decor in recent years. In the 1980s the interior was this modern 1950s dusty, minimalist look. The menu was eclectic, and the piano player was in a shiny, somewhat threadbare smoking and usually a bit drunk. Now it's full of beautiful people and the menu is healthy, but it's still worth checking out. Tables fill up rapidly, especially on weekends, but go. To see a bit of the old Pruckel, go downstairs to the bathrooms.
