Bridges in Britain don’t come much more picturesque than this beauty. The Pulteney Bridge was built in the late 18th century in order to connect Bath with the land of the Pulteney family, a very wealthy dynasty who were looking to develop. Shops span both sides of the bridge, a unique occurrence on the planet, but it is the overall aesthetic that draws the majority of attention from visitors to the city, the south side providing one of the most beautiful sights in the city.
