There’s a sea, there’s a beach, so of course there’s a pier. Brighton Palace Pier is the essential British pier, a 525metre walkway lined with stores and cafes with a somewhat nostalgic amusement park there as well. The pier is an integral part of almost every piece of culture associated with the city, from ‘Brighton Rock’ to ‘Quadrophenia’ and everywhere in between. The pier is thought to be the most visited tourist attraction in England outside of London, so expect to share it with plenty of other people.
