Brighton’s oldest and best aquarium is located just a stone’s thrown from Brighton beach. Opened in 1872, more than 3,000 sea dwelling monsters are found here, including sharks, jellyfish, rays and more. The interior of the building is almost as fascinating as the catfish and the seahorses — a striking Victorian arcade turned zoo for the sea. The centre is home to another UK first, as visitors can see the way a coral changes from day to night. Significant discounts can be found by booking online.
