It may have been the first Grade I listed pier in Britain, but time has not been kind to Brighton’s West Pier. Or has it? What was once a bustling centre of social activity is now a ravaged hulk of wood and metal, rotting away as the sea continues to batter its tired stalks, but it is all the more aesthetically striking for that decay. This beauty isn’t going to be around forever, so be sure to get your scenic shots while you can.
