Come here for a celebration of Budapest's commercial boom in the late 19th and the early 20th centuries, from the union of three towns in 1872 to its later heyday. There are recreated interiors of its famous coffee houses and an example of how a room inside the Gellért Hotel would have looked like in 1918. No wonder that three-day trips to Budapest were being promoted by tourist offices by the 1920s.
