The museum's first floor houses a permanent exhibition, Folk Culture of the Hungarians. One of the most eye-catching displays here is of typical dress in the late 19th and early 20th century among the country's various regions and nationalities. Also shown are wedding customs, home furnishings, toys, and even cookies, all from the vanished world of the last century.
