Taverna Diklo

This restaurant, pleasantly located by the water's edge in Diklo, was once considered one of Zadar's best. Traditional cuisine is solidly executed, and seafood is still their strong point. However, the overall experience, including the service, tells us that true passion is lacking these days.

Wonderful place good view small parking small tables. The second best place to eat fish in town. I personally like Roko more! The sea food is a must here! try the mussels and this other white shell (forgot the name locals call it Grope) main dish any thing from the sea fish shrimp lobster. ) Prices sam as other fish places. But smaller portions than roko

We ate a mixed seafood plate tonight and it tasted good. We enjoyed the service and would like to give credit to the waiter's recomendations.

I personally think that the Taverna was a wonderful place to enjoy exquisite food as well as relax. I believe that the service was great and I would very much love to traipse back in there someday in the future! For seven weeks the Taverna was something of a sanctuary. It was right down the street from where a group of 17 other students and I were staying at and it was absolutely convenient. My compliments to the Taverna chef!
