This recently designed park the size of 100 football fields was inspired by the nearby De Kempen nature reserve as well as traditional landscaped English gardens. The result is a fascinating mix of styles making it the ideal place for a relaxing day out. Due to its manmade elevation, you don't actually feel like you’re in the heart of the flat Dutch countryside. The small lakes and meandering streams give Park Meerland a fairytale atmosphere, especially its tiny waterfalls and rapids. A wide range of bird species also call Meerland home.
