  hostel "looming" ("creation" in english) is exactly what it name says. it's the creation of people who know how to create. it was initiated by an actor dancer Helgur Rosental and Sigrit Uibo - a former entertainment organiser. they both travelled around half a year around the world to get acquainted with places alike - nature-friendly hostels. and they have really managed to make something stylish out of nothing reused recycled materials and just a few colourful details and the result is a truly cosy accommodation place really close to the centre of Tartu the southern capital and the university town of estonia. i have stayed at the place many nights. there is nothing too special about the facilities but you've got there everything that you need - if you want privacy you can stay in your room; if you need to exchange thoughts with other guests you can do it in the living room while enjoying your mug of tea or playing table-games. in fact i have a dream - one day when i'm out of duties I'd like to stay in "looming" as a housekeeper to have a room of my own (a special one with an old desk in there and the view towards the street) and to write a book. i still hope i'll be able to do it... at least "looming" is waiting for me... it is there. very real. and it's not just a "loom" )
