Well the German tourists there don't like North American tourists who visit. They love to go to the West though.
Prenzlauer is pleasant but it is anti-tourist. with "Go home Tourist" graffitti on walls and unpleasant looks from locals who feel invaded by westerners. They still have an East German mentality.
