The main park in Grenoble is named after Paul Mistral, the mayor who came from modest beginnings and became one of the great developers of the city. The park was established in 1925 and covers 21 hectares, a lovely expanse of verdant scenery that provides a leafy escape from the hustle and bustle of modern Grenoble. A great place for a stroll on a sunny afternoon (or a morning jog, if you’re into that sort of thing), we’re all about the park and a good book. You should be too.
