Hannover

Aegidienkirche

more than a year ago
Exit the U-Bahn station towards the Volkhochschule. Walk straight on, church on the right. This burnt-out church is one of the original structures built long before Hanover was even officially a city. Built in the 14th century and destroyed in 1943, it severs as a local memorial to victims of violence and war.
