Explore the fashion and colours of the inner city with this walking tour led by downtown Joburg food and shopping experts Ancient Secrets.<br /> <br /> The African Fabric Tour starts at the Fashion District (originally the heart of Joburg’s Jewish fashion industry), which is now the home to the SewAfrica fashion school and is a treasure trove of fashion accessories shops. The African Fabric Tour then moves on to explore the many shops nearby selling colourful fabrics from across Africa. Learn about the melting pot of fashion that is the inner city's fashion district, from the Masai tartans and Ghanaian Kentes to the Mozambican Capulanas and Swahili Kangas.<br /> <br /> The tour ends with a coffee ceremony, shopping and a traditional meal in Little Addis, downtown Joburg's Ethiopian quarter.<br /> <br /> Booking is essential.
