Konjuh is not your average mountain, that’s for sure. There is magic within these hills, little slithers of history, culture and identity that are hidden in an assemblage of trees and verdant glory. Yes, that is a little lyrical, but Konjuh does this to those lucky enough to wander its green paths. Be careful when strolling around though, you might encounter a brown bear, a wolf or a horned viper, or maybe something cuddlier like a grouse or a deer (please don’t cuddle the fauna). Konjuh is likely to become a protected natural zone in the future, so expect the hiking routes to develop as time goes by. For now, it is just about as wild as BiH gets.
