An excellent option for explorers, Lara Beach is six miles east of town. Lara isn’t quite as well-kept as other beaches and can be a little rough around the edges, but isn’t that something that should be celebrated? Many beaches today are a little too squeaky clean and lacking in character. Not so with Lara. There are simple facilities here, along with a shack for supplies.
