We aren’t going to come straight out and see we love a shipwreck, but this type of museum is right up our alley. Kyrenia’s Shipwreck Museum is located in Kyrenia Castle and houses the wreck of a 4th-century Greek merchant ship discovered during a 1965 storm. The museum is one giant love letter to the vessel, covering trading, cargo and construction in a small-but-perfectly-formed layout. The museum is also a great place to find shade in the summer, although the whole ‘ancient shipwreck’ thing should be your reason for visiting.
