We love a magnificent town hall here at In Your Pocket, and the centre of city government in Leeds does not disappoint. Another tremendous piece of 19th century Victorian architecture, the palace-like beauty was the tallest building in the city for well over a century, before that blasted Park Plaza Hotel took the crown in 1966. We know which one wins the beauty pageant though. Guided tours of the building are occasionally available, through which alone access to the clock tower is possible.
