In the hot summer months, you can jump into the pleasant Iška River on the edge of the Ljubljana Marshes. The river Iška formed a beautiful gorge. You can reach the gorge from the Ljubljana Marshes, past the village of Jezero or from the direction of Ig, where the signs direct us towards Iški vintgar. You can leave your car in the parking lot of Dom in Iški vintgar. In the summer, however, due to possible congestion, you will have to find parking elsewhere. Therefore, it is better to go on a trip by bike, and continue on foot through the gorge.
