If you've ever been to Turkey, you've almost definitely seen (and hopefully tasted) simit, a soft, chewy circular bread topped with sesame seeds, which is as close a thing as there is to a national Turkish dish. Almost as ubiquitous in the country is the Simit Sarayi chain of bakery cafés, who 'bake with love' on seemingly every third street. Now you can save yourself the flight to Istanbul (or London), and instead just head to the corner of Trdinova and Miklošičeva to treat yourself to a delightful Turkish snack or drink.
