This newly opened Comic and Interactive Narration Center is a must for comic/graphic/narrative lovers everywhere! The massive center is split into parts that include Gaming, Comics, Relaxation and Events, and no detail is left out. 



First, the Gaming section is likely to be one of the most popular attractions in the city for adults and kids alike. With three different gaming "zones", this center offers a fully interactive experience that will help you appreciate the true meaning of graphics and narrative in games. The first zone is a retro experience, looking back on the history of gaming, including the early days of video games and arcades. The next zone is sure to be a popular one because it focuses on the VR experience, with headsets or a tablet that let you visit virtual words including an escape room! Finally, zone three is devoted to the process of game creation - walk through the creation of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to learn about how games are made. As the center puts it: "education through interaction."



That may seem like a lot -- and it's only one section of this multi-format experience! The next section, Comics, is a permanent, interactive exhibit that uses reproductions of digital graphics along with original boards, sketches and artifacts to introduce you to the art of comics, from how they're made and produced, to how to read them! The exhibit focuses largely on the art of comic books in Poland, specifically. This part of the center dives into the art, the technique and the details of comics, ultimately answering the question: what sets comics apart?



Of course, what would a comic center be without, well, comics! This is another wonderful section: Relaxation. Stop by the Chillout Center, which includes a library of comics, books and press related to games and picture stories. Make sure to swing by the cafe too, for any number of tasty bites and drinks. Then, in the summer months, head up to the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy your comic and drink outside in the sun! If gaming is more your speed, well there are plenty of consoles available, too! 



The center also offers Exhibitions and Events, a section devoted to rotating, temporary exhibits showcasing the works of different comic artists, many geared toward all ages (not just adults!). Currently, the exhibit Grzegorz Rosiński in illustrations focuses on the work of prolific graphic artist Grzegorz Rosiński and runs until the end of March.
