Ryby i Owce

  ul. Piotrkowska 295 ,   Piotrkowska South          + (48) 507 006 429     28 Feb 2024
Found within the revitalised industrial complex of Ogrody Geyera in the heart of Łódź, the theme of Ryby i Owce is as simple as the name would suggest - excellent fresh seafood and lamb dishes. The menu has been created from recipes sourced from different parts of the world, both old and new. You can experience many types of herring, snapper, swordfish, mussels, octopus, Jurassic salmon and almost a dozen different lamb dishes, plus other highly unique dishes.

The wine list has been put together by reputable sommeliers who specially collaborate with the restaurant, and with the distinct flavours and textures of each dish in mind. Choose from the likes of Pecorino, Lugana and Riesling, in addition to other selections such as beer from the creatively-minded Zakopiańczyk brewery, which experiments with less traditional ingredients such as honey and plum. The dessert section of the menu has proven to be particularly popular with guests, notably featuring gooseberry meringue and chocolate fondant with fruit sorbet. This is international dining in a laid-back atmosphere, which takes away the pressure of pomp and circumstance, and focuses solely on the gastronomic experience!

The restaurant received awards during 2022's Restaurant Week events for Best Service (1st place) and Best Restaurant (3rd place), as well as an award for thier desserts during the Festiwal Smaków (Festival of tastes) contest. Note that they are closed on Mondays.
