Hidden down easy-to-miss Library Street, running alongside Central Library, is this gem of an archive housing NI's largest collection of local and Irish newspapers, some dating back to the 1700s. It's a great place for researching your roots or re-reading great moments in history. Pick a date, take a seat and the nice librarian will furnish you with an original bound-copy or help you navigate their state-of-the-art microfilm. And, for a small fee, you can get a photocopy of your favourite read.
