We were told this place had been given a facelift under new ownership but we’ll be buggered if we could spot the difference in décor. Bare bricks? Check. Wicker seating? Check. Dim lighting? Check. The one thing that did appear to have changed was the menu. A decent selection of dishes considering that this is a restaurant/cafe/bar in Katowice, ranging from salads, pastas and seafood to a selection of meat dishes that saw our chicken stuffed with mushrooms and bacon get a thumbs up while the T-Bone for 68zł looked like a decent enough value. Located opposite the theatre this is clearly one of the city’s more trendy resto-bars and a welcome break from the adjacent ‘Rynek’.
