Museum Jan Heestershuis

  Pompstraat 17, Schijndel      (+31) 735 49 22 76     more than a year ago
Paintings by Dutch masters have been globally renowned for centuries. But in the small town of Schijndel only 10 minutes from Den Bosch, there are works of art on display which are totally unknown to the outside world, yet still worth a look. Local painters Jan Heesters and Dorus van Oorschot are no longer with us, but their paintings still illustrate typical Brabant landscapes and the characteristic lifestyles of local labourers.
