This massive sports and swimming complex has something for everyone and is only five minutes from the city centre. For €7.50/day you can have access to a wide variety of activities. The Sports Café near the reception is a good starting point where you can get something to eat, have a coffee or even a beer. Upstairs you'll find the fitness club with a huge selection of exercise machines, squash and ricochet courts and a posh-looking lounge area where you can get a snack or drink. Downstairs are two large gymnastics halls, an ice-skating rink with ramps and obstacles and a full-size hockey rink. Most people, however, come here for its incredible swimming complex. There are three pools: one for laps, one outdoors and an aqua fun centre on many different levels with rivers, individual hot tubs and three- and five-storey slides. In Holland kids are given free admission on Wednesday afternoons, making the complex a bit over-crowded on these days (something to bear in mind before you go). For the summerseason the icehall changes into a lasergamehal, called 'Operation Counterstrike'. Each venue has different opening times, so check its website for details.
