Belgrade
is one of the oldest cities in Europe, famous for its extraordinary position, turbulent history and fantastic night life. It lies at the confluence of clashing cultures, where east meets west, and the Sava flows into the Danube River. Belgrade’s greatest asset are warm-hearted and hospitable Belgraders.
Its name (
Beograd) means White City.

If you still haven’t visited Belgrade, this summer is the right time to change that. 2 beautiful rivers and Ada Ciganlija, the popular “Belgrade sea”, open their beaches, restaurants, cafes, and famous floating night clubs keeping you cool you despite global heating. Belgrade is the city on the move, and be sure that you will always find company for day walks, swimming, crazy nights out, and morning treatments with Turkish coffee and inevitable burek. This summer, Belgrade becomes the centre of sports and cultural manifestations – hosting 25th Summer Universiade, Sinead O’Connor, David Byrne, George Benson, Carlos Santana, Madonna, David Morales, Benny Benasy, Sandy Rivera, Leonard Cohen, and a four day music and beer festival. In July 9-12, we move to Novi Sad, to visit the famous Exit Festival and enjoy the music beats.
Welcome to Belgrade!
