Shkodra's art gallery presents a selection of its 700 paintings by local and Albanian painters in two large halls. The paintings span styles from Renaissance to Socialist Realism and contemporary art. Renowned local artists Kolë Idromeno, Danish Jukniu and Zef Kolombi are also represented. There are occasional special exhibitions by particular artists or groups.
