The restaurant promotes itself as a cocktail bistro - we think the label Gastro Pub also fits it well. This large spacious restaurant just off busy Vitosha Blvd with a small garden area (too small for the summer months unless you reserve in advance) was the earlier home of Wagamama (sadly failed in Sofia) and they have kept the original open kitchen and communal table concept. What we love about this place is that it is the perfect place to come with a group of friends where each has a different appetite and plans for the evening. You can have a meal with creative dishes from around the world, adapted in the way Andre does best or you can just have some drinks with dips and nibbles. Beer and chips or salmon and wine - everything goes! We had the Hawaiian poke which intrigued and satisfied and the Cheese Burger Banitsa which left us confused and bemused. Above all we were very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were for the good quality of food and pleasant service. Definitely the kid of place you can revisit many times.
