Aegna

more than a year ago

Not nearly as exciting or perhaps ‘explosive’ as Naissaar Island, the smaller Aegna is still certainly worth checking out for its nature, rich history and relative seclusion. Main attractions are the many hiking trails, an old cemetery and some military installations. More info from www.aegna.ee (in Estonian only) and www.visitestonia.com.

Getting there
Regular trips with ship Vesta (tel. +372 53 05 01 04 www.veeteed.com). Boat starts next to Linnahall in Kalasadama street, see website for schedule. Round trip ticket is €6.
