Located just off Velenje's main roundabout and an unmissable sight when arriving by car, the mid-19th century Villa Bianca is one of the most magnificent buildings in the city, and also home to the extremely well-stocked and helpful tourist information centre. A combination of Renaissance and neo-Gothic styles, the sprawling mansion underwent extensive renovations in recent years, which both preserved the integrity of the building's cultural heritage and dramatically modernised the interior space, which in addition of the TIC office also includes an art gallery, gift shop, several formal events spaces and a cosy bar/café.
