Niewinni Czarodzieje 2.0

  Sukiennice 6 ,   Old Town          (+48) 691 57 57 00     05 Apr 2024
While the name, Innocent Sorcerers, may immediately conjure up images of British boy wizards, it's actually an homage to a classic 1960s Polish film, which you should definitely try to watch if you really want to immerse yourself in local culture whilst in Wrocław. Etymology aside, it does seem like a feat of genuine magic to pack this much gastronomic excitement into one venue. Set in the centre of the Rynek and split between two floors, on the lower level it's a more lively bar-like atmosphere with live music and serious party people, while above is where you'll want to grab a table if you'd like to enjoy your meal in a comparatively calmer setting. When it comes to ordering, the first place to start is with the illustrated cocktail menu, which itself is a work of art - with literal featuring fire-breathing dragons (or at least literal fire if not dragons) and golden geese being amongst the more popular choices. As for the food, there's the proverbial something for everyone, with some delectable Asian items populating the starters (bao, shrimp tempura, tuna tartare), while the burgers, steaks and octopus (mmm mmm!) are some of the highlights from the mains. Multi-course lunch specials are served from 12-16 and change daily.
