ZIYP: Where is your favourite place to drink coffee or go out at night?
The Heritage Croatian Food Team: Thanks to the location of our delicatessen shop ‘Heritage’, which is in the immediate vicinity of Jelačić Square and Park Zrinjevac, we spend much of our time in the city centre where we enjoy the numerous possibilities available. Places like cinema Europa, the Kerempuh and Vidra Theatre companies, ZKM, and several open-air events are an essential part of our outings.

ZIYP: What is the best way to discover the city? Which activities do you recommend?
The Heritage Croatian Food Team: The best way is to go on one of the available tours, thereafter its best to stroll on foot in combo with tram rides which can quickly take you to new locations, or even rent a bike. A visit to Maksimir Park or a walk up to Medvedgrad is definitely a ‘must do’ whilst in Zagreb.

ZIYP: Where is the most ideal place to shop? What do you recommend as a souvenir from Zagreb?
The Heritage Croatian Food Team: Shopping wise, we recommend the heart of Zagreb. Here you can find almost everything. If you’re after a souvenir from Zagreb or Croatia, we recommend something handmade which you can find in specialty shops or even authentic gourmet delicacies which can be found in the Croatian Heritage Food Store, located in Petrinjska 14.
