Mia Štark aims to communicate with artificial intelligence technology, specifically the ChatGPT model, therefore giving her visitors a chance to engage in conversation with an embodied virtual bot in the I’ll Be Here to Help You exhibition-performance program at the Miroslav Kraljević Gallery, Zagreb, from April 1 – April 10.

A Love Electric Trio, a progressive cross-genre group with its roots buried deep in the vibrant jazz/rock scene of Mexico City; is coming to Sax club, Zagreb, on April 3.

Perpetuum Jazzile is a vocal orchestra, but with a more fitting name as it is a  worldwide musical sensation. Their vocal arrangements include all genres from pop, rock & jazz to bossa nova, disco & funk. The arrangements are sung in a variety of languages and throughout, they experiment with different singing techniques. They are making their way to the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Zagreb, on April 3.

Akua Naru, an American rapper is coming to Vintage Industrial Bar, Zagreb, a place where hip-hop, soul and jazz will collide for one night, on April 6.

The town of Rovinj-Rovigno is celebrating this year’s awakening of Spring by hosting the recreational sports event, Popolana, with various activities for all ages, including the final half marathon which will close the event. This healthy spirit day is taking place on April 7.

The International Documentary Film Festival, ZagrebDox, is once again inviting all the movie fans, specifically documentary enthusiasts, to come to Kaptol Boutique Cinema&Bar, Zagreb, from April 14 – 21 for another great selection of recent documentary films.


The youthful Croatian quartet, Chui, makes unique combinations of contemporary club dance music, which includes jazz, rock and electronic music throughout their songs and magical live shows. Another mesmerizing performance awaits in The Concert Hall of Ivo Tijardović, Hrvatski Dom Split, on April 20.

WRC Croatia Rally, one of the World’s top sporting events, is uniting masses of fans and audiences from all over the globe to be spectators at the greatest race to be held in Croatia. There will be up to 100 competitors for 4 days of rallying, starting from April 18 – 21.


Jonathan is a Croatian group from Rijeka that does a great job of combining guitar rock and pop, and the lucky audiences will find similarities with world known bands such as Editors, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol and The Strokes. They will shake up the stage of Tvornica kulture, Zagreb, on April 19.

III. Muzza Science Week, from April 12 – 14 at The University of Zagreb, Radoslava Cimermana 88, offers visitors an incredible insight into the secrets of the universe, the functioning of the human body and mind, the world of ecology, the wonders of mathematics, physics and chemistry as well as many other sciences, through various panel discussions, educational games, workshops and exhibitions, while also providing participants with a unique chance to meet robots!

Traviata, one of the most famous and most loved operas of the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, will be presented in a version directed by Pier Francesco Maestrini and conducted by the celebrated conductor of the Zagreb Croatian National Theatre, Pier Giorgio Morandi. It will be performed on April 23, 25, 27 & 30 at the Croatian National Theatre (HNK), Zagreb.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra has existed in the minds of many for over 85 years, with its incredible swing rhythms and its eternal mark on the music scene. To relive the sounds of all those great hits, The Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb will be opening its doors to the “Best of…Glenn Miller Orchestra” conducted by Wil Salden on April 23.


Pianist, Roberto Fonseca, shows his love for jazz through classical music with a percussion component, while using Cuban music as the origin and main structure of all his projects. Music was always his destiny, and that same destiny brings him to the 15th Zagreb Jazz Festival at the Kerempuh Theatre, Zagreb on April 23.

After mastering both classical music and jazz piano studies, the jazz-pianist, composer, and music teacher, Gábor Antal, formed the Gábor Antal Trio. This outstanding jazz group with international success will be performing at the Liszt Institute in the Hungarian Cultural Centre, Augusta Cesarca 10, Zagreb on April 24.

The 11th edition of the Impulse Festival has prepared a rich programme for all generations, including a film segment, a vinyl fair, and a great number of live performances, hosting various musical artists in the spirit of the “Music is everywhere” slogan. This Festival is happening in Rijeka, from April 22 – 28.

Jazz.hr will host the Fanni Pósa Quartet at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Zagreb on April 24, in cooperation with EFFEA and the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Zagreb.

The legendary Urban&4 are performing with a string quartet at The Concert Hall of Ivo Tijardović, Hrvatski Dom Split, on April 27.

The city of Dubrovnik is the site of Croatia’s famous medieval walls, which, once every year, turn into a racetrack for thousands of tourists who choose to take part. The Run The Wall race is on April 27.

The Dubrovnik Half Marathon unveils the hidden treasures of The Old City nucleus and the Dubrovnik coast with each step taken by the participants. The racecourse stretches over 21 kilometres with a start and finish point on the main pedestrian street, Stradun. The time to dust off the old running shoes is April 28.

Đarđin - The Opatija Flower Festival will be held for the first time ever this year from April 28 – 30 at Park Angiolina, Opatija. Here you can expect to find various seasonal and other types of flowers, cacti, indoor plants, and many fun workshops with something in store for every plant and flower enthusiast. Enjoy!

This year’s Dani Komunikacija Festival has prepared another unique programme filled with honest, innovative, out-of-the-box talks with some of the most interesting thinkers and speakers at Hotel Lone, Rovinj, from April 11 – 14.
