A stop on many a literary tour of Berlin, the Sachsenhof is steeped in history and offers some of the best value accommodation on the city. Colourful (its red exterior is hard to miss) it boasts a variety of rooms, from singles to quads and apartments. Close to the city centre the location is ideal, and yet the hotel is also lovely and quiet. Great breakfast option.
