The main park in Cardiff, Bute Park is made up of 130 gorgeous acres of gardens and parkland that are perfect for afternoon strolls and whatever else the summer months allow. Named after the 3rd Marquess of Bute (once the richest man in the world, now dead), the park is a stunning amalgamation of recreation and relaxation, marrying tranquility with excitement in a delightful way. The park was extensively renovated in 2007, and is also home to a wonderful sculpture park, not to mention a host of curious paths and inspiring bridges. There is plenty in here, and we’re more than happy to enjoy the verdant joy of Cardiff’s best park.
