A huge beer hall and restaurant near Wawel Castle, Pod Wawelem offers enormous portions of cheap Polish food that your kids won't protest eating, and often live folk music in the evenings. The real draw for families, however, is the huge 60 square metre upstairs rumpus room (free for guests, but sadly closed on Mondays), which will keep your kids happily occupied while you clink steins with your partner.
