Ferries & Water Trams

Water trams (basically ferries) sail during the summer season departing the stop in front of the Hilton in Gdansk; the end of the pier in Sopot; and the quayside near the museum ships in Gdynia. Tickets can be bought from the office at Targ Rybny 6 in Gdansk, from the ticket offices at the end of the pier and in the gardens leading to the pier in Sopot and from the ticket office close to the Blyskawica battleship in Gdynia. Please note that tickets for ferries F5 and F6 can only be bought on-board. Be warned that tickets, especially for the first sailing of the day to Hel, are very popular and you'll need to be there at least half an hour before the tram sails most days to start queuing. We also apologise for the lack of information on some of the ferry routes. There have been changes in the organisation of the routes once again this season and as we went to print it was still impossible to obtain exact information from the operators as to when routes would be running for the whole season, a situation we find ridiculous and unprofessional.
