Although its slogan ‘coffee, bikes, food’ is certainly to the point, it neglects to inform you that on weekdays MiiT is also a vegetarian/vegan bistro that’s incredibly popular with local hipsters and affluent arty types. Roughly €5 will get you a tasty soup and a main course, but you’ll have to pay extra for the excellent coffee, the mouth-watering brownies or the Valmiermuižas brews. The interior is simple, yet chic, and you can also have your bicycle repaired in the shop behind the bar. Naturally, bike parking is available in the courtyard behind the historic wooden building.
