Skopje’s central bus station is modern, clean and relatively easy to use. Facilities include good quality toilets for 10den, ATMs, shops and cafés. Eight ticket windows staffed by a surprisingly high proportion of English-speakers sell tickets for destinations inside Macedonia and abroad. Information, currency exchange and left luggage are also taken care of by the ticket staff. International destinations from Skopje include Belgrade, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Peja, Pristina, Sofia, Tirana and Zagreb.
