Meal kit deliveries to try in Joburg during lockdown

27 May 2020
As the city's restaurants, cafes and takeaways are closed during lockdown, there's an awful lot of home cooking going on in Joburg. We've been sharing some delicious recipes kindly shared with us by some of our favourite local restaurants for you to try at home - find out full rundown of all the recipes shared so far here.

If you like your home cooking to be as easy as possible there are also some places who have diversified into meal kit delivery, providing you with all the ingredients you need to cook your favourite restaurant dishes at home.

Note that all meal kits consist of fresh, raw ingredients and essential grocery items that you will have to prepare yourself, so be ready to do some cooking! Most will also sell you basic grocery essentials too such as bread, milk, eggs etc. UberEats meal kit deliveries are only available between 9am and 5pm and your kits will strictly be left at your gate only with payment in advance via the app.

Here are some home meal kit deliveries services in Joburg to try out this month. Note that you must be in a 5km proximity of the venue to be able to order delivery via the UberEats app.
