Fist upraised, fighting mad, charging forward with a rifle in his hand - yes, it`s none other than the Unknown Partisan. This statue was erected to honor the many Albanian partisans who gave their lives fighting the fascists. Those guys hanging out around the monument in the morning are not WWII buffs but day labourers waiting for work, with their powerdrills and tools on display.
