Named after international cosmetics queen Helena Rubinstein - who was born in the building next door - this upscale hotel restaurant is the perfect place for modern dining in the heart of the Jewish quarter. Before you take a seat in their huge outdoor dining area, consider that they also possess a fantastic seasonal rooftop terrace (weather dependent). It should also be noted that they only serve drinks on Sunday; during the rest of the week Rubinstein offers breakfast until 10:30 and a simple 'bar menu' from 10:30 until 17:00, after which is your chance to try the house specialty duck with spinach in black currant sauce, or splash out for the 190zł tasting menu. With a full drinks menu, you don't even need to bring an appetite to enjoy the incredible views extending all the way to Wawel from their sky bar, but you should probably make a reservation. You won't regret it.
